Our Stress Relief Blend is 100% Dead Sea Mineral Salts with Pure Essential Oils of Lavender, Geranium, Clary Sage & Vetiver. Great for helping to melt away the stress of the day! Many of our customers use this for a mineral facial steam as well. Just add a teaspoon to your bathroom sink, fill with warm water and hold a soaked wash cloth to your skin.
For our customers that prefer unscented bath salts we have packaged one pound of Dead Sea Salts in a recyclable glass mason jar. We suggest adding ¼ to ½ cup to soften bath water for a relaxing soak.
The waters of the Dead Sea are unique compared to other seas and lakes, first and foremost, due to the high concentration of salts reaching 27% compared to 3% in ordinary seawater. The composition of the Dead Sea salts is also unique. In ordinary seawater, sodium chloride (common salt) is the major constituent (about 80% of the total salt content) the Dead Sea on the other hand contains a significantly smaller proportion of sodium chloride, the balance consisting of magnesium, potassium and calcium chlorides and a comparatively high concentration of bromides.
Many believe that these other salts, mainly those of magnesium, potassium and bromide have numerous therapeutic properties. Clinical studies have been made on the use of Dead Sea Salts for patients suffering from rheumatism, tendonitis, muscle strains and a variety of skin diseases.
